Chevin Golf Club supports and enjoys an excellent and thriving Junior Section comprising nearly 90 members aged from 8 to 18.
We are a Golfmark club and as such apply the principles of Recruitment, Coaching & Playing, Club Environment and Child Protection & Duty of Care. The Junior Section is also an active member of the Derbyshire Golf Partnership (see website: http://derbyshiregolfpartnership.org/).
Junior membership comprises 3 levels, each having differing playing rights:
A full programme of competitions, fun golf days and family golf days are also scheduled where non-handicapped juniors can gain experience and play golf with their own ability groups. The Chevin Junior Section also takes part in the Derbyshire Junior League and has friendly matches within the club and against local clubs.
