March 23rd 2012 - Chevin Golf Club
We're inviting teams of three aged 11 - 18 to take part. Teams can be made up of any combination of boys and girls who can represent their golf club or school.
The round winners and top fundraisers from each qualifier will go on to play in the regional Grand Final as Close House near Newcastle on 9 July. This fantastic new venue is described by their attached Tour Professional Lee Westwood as "capable of staging a major tournament in years to come", further cementing its growing reputation as one of the UK's premier courses.
And that's not all, teams who raise £500 or more by Friday 15 June will also qualify for the final and be in with a chance of winning a host of fantastic top fundraiser prizes.
For further information and a registration pack please ring the Junior Golf Team on 01623 624558 or email jonesca@bhf.org.uk or see BHF website for more details
Chevin Golf Club are pleased to announce that they are jointly holding an AM-AM with the Rotary Club of Derby Merica. The event will be held on Friday 25th May 2012.

"Chevin boasts a delightful course of manageable yardage, with the sharp ascent onto the Chevin Ridge and the occasional blind shot bolstering its defences. The lower holes are mature parkland, while the upper ones have a rugged, moorland feel and a five county vista on a haze-free day. The 8th – aptly named Tribulation – lives long in the memory with its narrow, hog’s back fairway and steep climb to a green where OOB lurks right and long – though going long takes a bit of doing."
